Linda Sue (Ballard) Schollenbarger, 66, passed away Saturday morning, June 24, 2023 at home in Tyrone, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Carolyn Jean (Coleman) and Joe L. Ballard, Sr., Linda was born April 1, 1957 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Linda was married to Garland Joe Chandler in 1975 and they had four children. She was married to Eldon Schollenbarger on June 4, 2008 in Guymon. He preceded her in death in 2018.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Ballard and one great grandson, Liam Chandler.
Survivors include her father, Joe L. Ballard, Sr. of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; three daughters: Angela Chandler of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Carolyn Ritenour and husband, John of Tyrone, Oklahoma and Carrie Glover and husband, James of Vega, Texas; one son, Joe Chandler of Cookson, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Leann Beckley and husband, Mitch of Guymon; two brothers: Joe L. Ballard, Jr. and wife, Lori of Guymon and Jeremy Ballard and wife, Vanessa of Graham, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning, June 28th at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jack Peck officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Friends can sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
