Charles Roscoe Mendenhall

Charles Roscoe Mendenhall, 79, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
The son of Roscoe Pritchard and Pauline Peace (Heynen) Mendenhall, he was born March 5, 1942 in Liberal, KS. He graduated from the Friends Bible College in Haviland, KS, in 1962, attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, graduating in 1976.
Charlie and Margaret Annette Paris were united in marriage July 7, 1962, in Seiling, OK. They moved to Guymon from Perryton, TX, in August of 1977, and started the Victory Center Church in November of 1977.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Pauline Mendenhall and one sister, Sharon Lawrence.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; three children: Quentin Charles Mendenhall and wife, Trisha of Johnstown, CO, Bradley Wayne Mendenhall and wife, Tamy of Enid, OK, Kim Rachelle Like and husband, Eugene of Guymon, and one brother, Gerald Mendenhall and wife, Deloras of Meade, KS. Survivors also include 12 grandchildren: Joshua Mendenhall and wife, Dainele, Keelie Smith and husband, Seth, Brooke Jordan and husband, Kinsley, Brandon Mendenhall, Brittany Juliano and husband, Lenny, Bryce Mendenhall, C. E. Like and wife, Shyanne, Zack Like and wife, Lynette, Ezekiel Like, Justin Like, Matthew Like, and Angel Victoria-Like, and 8 great-grandchildren: C’Ne Smith, Iba Smith, Lilly Smith, Troy Smith, Hadley Jordan, Kaden Jordan, Luke Like, and Everett Like.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon, January 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Center with Brad Mendenhall, Quentin Mendenhall, and Kim Like officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, January 6th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Victory Center. Memorials in memory of Pastor Charlie may be given to the Victory Center Building Fund. Memorials will be accepted at the church office or Bunch—Roberts Funeral Home, P. O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
