Johnnie Wanda [Melott] Sanner

VELMA - Johnnie Wanda Sanner, 64, of Velma died Thursday, June 27, 2002, in Oklahoma City.

Service was to be at 1:30 p.m. today in the Countryside Free Will Baptist Church in Velma with the Rev. Carroll Milner officiating. Burial was to be in the New Velma Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sanner was born Oct. 4, 1937, in Hope to Ira Homer and Bertha Marie Woodward Melott. She married Winferd Sanner on June 14, 1954, in Marlow.

She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Countryside Free Will Baptist Church in Velma.

Survivors include her husband, Winferd, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Keith Brooksher of Duncan and Brenda and Russ Wyler of Stafford, Va.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Judy Sanner and Larry D. and Cindy Sanner, all of Velma; two brothers, Ira Melott of Medford, Ore., and Freddie "Peanut" Melott of Thayer, Mo.; a sister, Marie Dorman of Burns Flat; and 10 grandchildren.

Bearers will be her grandchildren, Casey Brooksher, Coby Brooksher, Kenny Don Sanner, Jimmy Sanner, Christopher Sanner, Brandon Sanner, Blakely Sanner, Zachary Moore, Amanda Sanner and Kaylee Jo Sanner.
