Andy "Ted" Wayne Tidwell

He was born on Aug. 8, 1964, and died Friday, July 28, 2006, in Duncan.

His parents were Bobby Wayne and Suzie Tidwell and Terri and Cecil Bowers.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby James Tidwell, and his grandparents, Alfred J.A. Tidwell, Joe Bob Henley Sr. and Jewell Ray.

He worked on an oilfield rig service crew.

Andy loved the Lord and his family very much. He enjoyed fishing and watching football. He had a contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed interacting with his nephew, Zachariah, who was a tremendous help during his illness. He will be missed.

Survivors include his parents; one son, Aaron Lee Tidwell, Duncan; one daughter, Abby Gail Franks, Dallas; two sisters and their husbands, Donna and Greg Stevens, Duncan, and Melanie and Darin Carman, Duncan; two stepbrothers and their wives, Jeff and Brandy Stevens, Oklahoma City, and Michael and Joey Stevens, Duncan; his grandparents, Faye Tidwell, Duncan, Roland and Jerri Gay, Duncan, and Lorene Smith, Duncan.

Bearers are Steve Cusumano, Joe Bob Henley Jr., Kenneth Mettler, Jeff Stevens, Michael Stevens, and Brian Kamon.

Honorary bearers are Jay Rodriguez, Ben Phillips, Dave Gowan, Dave Bingham, Doug Eubanks and Dr. Mary Gumerlock.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chisolm Trial Hospice of Duncan.

Family visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
