Burnice McRee Selman

Marlow - Burnice McRee Selman, 60, of Rt. 1, Marlow, died Sunday, Apr. 26, 1987, of injuries received in a car accident.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Marlow Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Alvin McConnell.

Selman was born May 1, 1926, in Rush Springs, and he lived in the Rush Springs area all his life.

He married Dorothy Jean Archer on Jan. 1, 1944, in Duncan.

He was a rancher, a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy, and a member of a Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Larry Selman of Newburgh, Ind.; a daughter, Cathy (Mrs. Rick) Foster of Marlow; his father, John Earl Selman of Marlow; a sister, Johnnie Sue (Mrs. Lee Roy ) Green of Tuttle; and five grandchildren.
