Betty Jane [Moore] Bridgers 1932 ~ 2006

Funeral Services for Betty Jane Bridgers have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Hope Worship Center. Rev. Duane Brogdon will officiate under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 13, 2006 at Comanche Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma.

Betty Jane Bridgers was born October 28, 1932 at Farmersbranch, Texas the daughter of Delbert D. and Emma [Chambers] Moore. Betty died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 74 years of age.

Betty was married to Joe Ervin Bridgers on January 22, 1955 at Garland, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2001. She moved to Tulsa from Comanche 5 years ago. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, ironing, board games and she loved being with her family. She was a member of Praise Assembly in Comanche and Hope Worship Center in Tulsa. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.

She is survived by,

Daughters, Jewel and husband Tomm Edwards, Stillwater, OK
Linda and husband Gordon Dozier, McKinney, TX

Sons, Joe and wife Elizabeth Bridgers, Temple, TX
Buddy Bridgers, Temple, TX
Butch and wife Samantha Bridgers, Tulsa, OK

12 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren

Brother, William and wife Sophie Moore, Pottsboro, TX

Sister in Law, Alice Moore, Pharr, TX

She was preceded in death by brother, Delbert Moore.
