Wanda Mae [Burkhalter] Croy

Wanda Mae Croy left this earth on Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, to be with her Lord and Savior.
Service were to be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Bill Florez officiating. Burial was to be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
She was born April 11, 1926, in Davenport to David and LeeAnna King Burkhalter. She married Clayton Lenard Croy on Dec. 1, 1945, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton Lenard, of the home; her sons, Gary Croy and his wife, Katie, of Oklahoma City, Larry Croy and his wife, Diane, of Burkburnett, Texas, John Croy and his wife, Debby, of Marlow, Leonard Croy and his wife, Sharon, of Ada, and Roman Petty and his wife, Dianne, of Duncan; nephews, Richard L. Petty of Oklahoma City and David Patterson of Duncan; seven grandchildren, Clay, Carrie, David, Lute, Katie Lynn, Whitney and Tyler Croy; three great-grandchildren, Shawn Kyle, Jon-Carter David and Shannon Croy.
She is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and a grandson.
Pallbearers were to be David Croy, Carrie Dale Croy, Paul Croy, Lute Croy, Clay Croy and Richard Petty. Honorary pallbearers are John Blair, Gaylon Wood, Ray Edmondson, Eddie Byford, Judd Hill, Grady Rayburn and Allen Wooten.
She truly loved her family and friends.
