Lenna Young was born April 24, 1919 in Jenks, Oklahoma, the daughter of James and Minnie (Stump) Buckner.

She married Roy E. Young on August 24, 1937 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1995. Mrs. Young passed this life on January 30, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 97.
 

She leaves to mourn her passing:
1 daughter and son in law: Barbara and Ron Duncan of Sallisaw, OK
1 son: Roy L. and Sue Young of Van Buren, AR
5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren & several other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy E. Young; 1 sister, Betty Jane; and 4 brothers, Charley, Johnny, Bill and Pat

Funeral service is Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10 am at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery.

Viewing is Thursday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm
