Funeral services for Edith Jacobs will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Charles Crozier officiating.

Interment will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Edith Fern Jacobs was born July 11, 1921, in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. She went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2009, at the Stilwell Nursing Home at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 27 days.
Edith was married to Rev. Henry Jacobs and to this union was born four children, Henry Dale, Randy Neal, Sandy Gale and Carolyn Sue. As a pastor’s wife, Edith loved and supported her husband and his ministry. She was a member of the Assembly of God and served on the Women’s Missionary Council. She was queen of TOPS in Okmulgee County and served as a Sunday School teacher for several years. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, growing flowers in her garden and long walks. But most of all, she loved and adored her family.
Her infant daughter, Carolyn Sue Jacobs, preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rev. Henry Jacobs, of Stilwell; three sons, Henry Dale Jacobs and wife, Tammy, of Buckeye, TX, Randy Neal Jacobs and wife, Brenda, of Stilwell, and Sandy Gale Jacobs and wife, Carolyn, of Boynton, OK, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
