John Alan Ferguson

John Alan Ferguson was born on February 9, 1968, in Seminole, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2016, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 48.

John, the son of Bill and Sue {Petchinsky} Ferguson, was a resident of Prague.

He graduated from Drumright High School with the class of 1986. He then received an associate’s degree in computer science from the Oklahoma State University of Technology in Okmulgee.

He was an active member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Mannford.

John enjoyed golfing, going to the lake, particularly Keystone lake and was an avid OU football fan.

John's grandparents, Elmer and Johnnie Ferguson, and Adolph and Doris Petchinsky preceded him in death.

Survivors include John's parents, Bill and Sue Ferguson of Prague; sons and daughter-in-law, Jacob Alan and Courtney Ferguson of Sand Springs, Noah Michael Ferguson of Sand Springs and Elijah James Ferguson of Sapulpa; daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann and Michael Andrews of Tulsa, and their daughter, Olivia; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Paul and Sheryl Ferguson of Yukon; many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Assembly of God Church in Prague with Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating.

Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
