Services for Opal Dean O’Daniel, 93, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Dave Evans will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Mrs. O’Daniel passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her home. She was born August 7, 1923 at Sasakwa to Walter and Lizzie Neal Barrett.

She married Howard Edward O’Daniel April 5, 1976 in Sasakwa. He preceded her in death November 23, 2008. Mrs. O’Daniel was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Wewoka and later at Holdenville General Hospital. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Hudson and husband Tommy of Sasakwa and Wilba Timmons and husband Ron of Tahlequah; a son, Dan O’Daniel and wife Lola of Enid; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Carol Sue Welch; three brothers; and two sisters.

Bearers will be Kerry Hudson, Jeff Hudson, Michael Hudson, Logan Hudson, J. D. Wyatt, Wesley Jones, Ryan Peters and Aaron Choate.
