Shawnee resident Aletha Middleton died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in Shawnee at the age of 35.

She was born July 4, 1973 in Shawnee to James and Carolyn (Krueger) Middleton. She attended school at Pleasant Grove-Seminole, Tecumseh and Shawnee.

She loved life and was known for having a big heart. She enjoyed shopping, reading, her computer, and walking with her dog, Sadie. She enjoyed children and especially loved spending time with her nephews and nieces.

Aletha was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Earvin and Emma Krueger and Arthur and Martha Middleton.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Middleton of Earlsboro; one sister and brother-in-law, Renea and Mark McCune of Shawnee; one brother and sister-in-law Manuel and Debra Krueger of Prague; one niece, Kaitlyn; four nephews, Jeff, John, and Matt McCune of Shawnee and Andrew McCune of Hawaii; one great-nephew, Trenton of Hawaii; two aunts Dlorah Krueger of Shawnee and Vera Johnson of Poteau; three uncles, Mark Krueger of Earlsboro, Leon Krueger of Shawnee and Freddie White of Earlsboro;; and many special cousins including Angela and Zoe Davis; her beloved dog, Sadie; special friend, Joe Wilson and many other friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donna Morton officiating. Burial will be at Little Cemetery.
