Wilma Jean Hunter, wife of Dr. Cal Hunter, long time pastor of Southern Baptist Churches in Oklahoma and retired Director of Missions for Northwestern Baptist Association in Woodward, died peacefully at 6 a.m., Monday, March 23, at Midwest City Regional Hospital surrounded by family holding her hands, wiping eyes, yet rejoicing as the end of this life's struggle came to an end, and she is now with the Lord and reunited with family and friends who preceded her.

She is survived by her husband Cal, of Shawnee, two sons, Mike of Owasso and Rick of Prague, 2 grandsons, Jason and Jon, both living in Atalanta; two granddaughters, Mindi of Norman and Katheryn, a student at OBU. She also leaves six great-grandchildren; one brother Stanley Jamison of Midwest City; two sisters, Alma Holland of Choctaw and Shirley Sexton of Konawa, and one adopted sister, Holly Harrison, of Comanche, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Highway Baptist Church, Seminole, Oklahoma located at Little, Oklahoma.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, send contributions to the mission fund of Highway Baptist Church, Seminole, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole, Oklahoma.
