Services for Evelyin Carol Bennett, 70, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Toby Willoughby will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bennett died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at a local care center. She was born August 14, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to Haskell Charles “Hack” and Lavonia “Ninnie” Jordan Parker.

She was retired from Arkla Gas Company as a meter reader. Mrs. Bennett attended Latta School and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Clark and husband Roy of Gaar Corner and Sandy Bennett of Ada; three sisters, Rosie Buck of California, Thelma Eubanks of Ada and P.I. Cox and husband Jerry of Ada; four grandchildren, Joshua Clark, Ryan Baxley, Bronson Gore and Dakota Gore; four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jean Kaiser.

Bearers will be Jay Cox, Jerry Cox, Scott Rinehart, Doug Cook, Tommy Williams and Jimmy Dyer. Honorary Bearers will be grandsons.
