Glenda Sarah Raines Allen was born on May 25, 1950, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, February 1, 2013, in Oklahoma City Oklahoma, at the age of 62.
Glenda, the daughter of Inemon and Faye Snodgrass Raines, was a long-time resident of Oklahoma City.
On March 10, 1978, Glenda married Duane Allen in Oklahoma City.
She worked as a cook at Winds West Elementary School in Oklahoma City for many years.
Her parents and one brother, Lee Edwin Raines, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Duane of the home; son, Shane Springer of Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Matthew Skaggs of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Madison, Haley and Chase Skaggs of Oklahoma City; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathan and Stacey Raines of McLoud, Danzil and Janet Raines of El Reno and Daniel Raines of Pink; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rena Faye and Perry Monholland of Shawnee and Freda Shatswell of Harrah, as well as numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Pastor Mark Guinn officiating.
Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
