Dana Jay Rouw
October 15, 1979 - November 3, 2025
Services to celebrate and remember the life of Dana Jay Rouw will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at ClearView Church in Claremore. Burial will follow at Oowala Cemetery where Dana will be laid to rest beside her father. Visitation will be at ClearView Church on Thursday from 4-7 with family there to receive visitors. Dana left her temporary earthly home for her permanent heavenly home on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Claremore. She was 46 years old.
Born in San Leandro, California on October 15, 1979, to Troy Lee and Ruth Jay (Gilbert) Richardson. Dana was raised and educated in Claremore and graduated from Claremore High School with the Class of 1998. On September 25, 1999, in Claremore, Dana married the love of her life Ed Rouw. Their marriage was gifted with three children; Colby, Cade, and Alexis. Dana realized the importance of the role God had given her as a wife and mother and she devoted her whole life to caring for her family. When her children were older Dana began to work a few days a week as an Administrative Assistant at ClearView Church in Claremore.
A young lady that had so many God-given talents. Dana had a true servant's heart, and it didn't take you long to feel loved when you had the pleasure of being around her. She was actively involved in ClearView Church. And wherever she saw a need, Dana was quick to step in and help. She shared her love of cooking with her church family. She prepared the church family dinner each week for over 100 people.
Dana had a few favorite hobbies if you will. She enjoyed camping and many times could be found on Fridays getting the family RV ready for a weekend of fun. Quilting was another talent. You only had to be in her home for a few minutes to see some of her finest pieces on display for everyone to enjoy. She had a love of animals and in addition to her favorite dogs Hank and Roxie, Dana's backyard was filled with chickens and rabbits. It was like a mini petting zoo. No story about Dana would be complete unless you mentioned her devotion to her mother. Dana and Ruth were best friends and Dana made sure her mom was well taken care of.
A young lady that has left a huge footprint and legacy that will live on in the lives of her family and friends. Dana is survived by her husband Ed, children, Colby, Cade, and Alexis Rouw, mother, Ruth Richardson, mother-in-law, Ann Rouw, brothers, Randy Richardson and wife Mary, Gary Richardson and wife Dana, and Corey Richardson. Dana was preceded in death by her father, Troy Richardson.
