Gladys LaRue (Lunsford) Boles passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2011. Gladys was born in Talala, Oklahoma in 1931.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Rollie Lunsford, her brother, Glen Lunsford, and her sons, Richard and Andrew Sonnier. She was a member of Rejoice Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Gladys loved tole painting and was a member of the Tulsa Town Tolers for several years. She was proud of her accomplishment of working on the first space shuttle at North American Aviation in Tulsa. One of her favorite things to do was to travel with Bill. They drove many miles in their camper visiting sites all over the United States.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bill Boles of Owasso, Oklahoma, her daughters, Joann Sonnier Manganiello and husband John of Edmond, Oklahoma, Belinda Sonnier Biddick and husband Mike of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and her daughter-in-law Roberta Sonnier of Owasso. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin Lunsford, Oologah, sister Peggy Guinn and husband Jim, Skiatook, sister Wanda Thompson and husband Marion, Oologah, and brother Roger Lunsford, Oologah, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services have been set for Thursday, March 3, 2011, at 10:30 AM, at Rejoice Baptist Church. Moore's Owasso Chapel.
