William Floyd Parks, Sr.
April 15, 1939 - August 22, 2025
Chelsea

William Floyd Parks, Sr. 86, of Chelsea, Oklahoma, passed away at his home, surrounded by family, on Friday, August 22, 2025. Born on April 15, 1939, William lived a full and faithful life. He worked as a carpet layer throughout his career while also dedicating himself to pastoring churches, including Trinity Pentecostal, Pryor, OK, Junction Hill Pentecostal in West Plains, Missouri, Kellyville Holiness, Kellyville, OK, and 30 years of service at Landmark Holiness in Eucha, OK. He donated his flooring installation skills to many churches across the country.

He especially enjoyed remodeling and improving the churches he shepherded. William loved the outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing. Known for his calm and even-tempered nature, he was a loving family man who always affectionately called his wife "Sweetheart." Generous to a fault, honest, and giving, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Alveta Parks of the home; son, Bill Parks and wife Melanie of Catoosa, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Edenfield and husband Gary of Claremore, Oklahoma; brothers, Eugene Parks, John Parks and wife Merrilynn, Dan Parks, and Leon Parks and wife Betty, all of Chelsea, Oklahoma; sister, Mary Littleton and husband Lloyd of Fouke, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; Amber Breeden, April Rogers and husband Justin, Dustin Parks and wife Bridgett, Andrea Touchton and husband Michael, William Parks and wife Allison, Deric Parks and wife Carissa, Shareta Gonzales and husband Ryan, Chloe Hite and husband Tanner; fifteen great-grandchildren; Chase, Trevor & Adam Rogers; Emma, Eden & Easton Parks; Rylen, Owen & Ellen Touchton; Lucas Holcomb; Jay & Sage Parks; Zoe Parks; Melody and Lawson Gonzales along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh and Dorcus Jenetta Parks; brothers, Robert Parks, Raleigh Parks, and Ronnie Parks; Son, Gary Wayne Parks and Daughter-in-law Mary Arnedith Parks.
