Joila Louise Noblitt
January 3, 1935 - November 9, 2024
Joila Louise Noblitt, 89, of Nowata, passed away at Osage Nursing Center in Nowata, November 9, 2024. She was born January 3, 1935, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Joseph Losson Hayes, and Gladys Pauline (Ketchum) Hayes. She was a graduate of Alluwe High School and on June 6, 1953, she married the love of her life Roy Junior Noblitt in Nowata. Joila was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to garage sales and antiquing. She sewed and quilted for many years. Joila had an opinion about things and wasn't shy about voicing that. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Joila held a special place in her heart for her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Mrs. Noblitt in death are her parents, Joseph and Gladys Hayes, and siblings, Bob Stephens, Jackie Stephens, Janet Clanton, Darlene Inman, Jim Hayes, and John Hayes. Survivors include her husband, Roy, of the home; two sons, Larry Noblitt, of Nowata, Bill Noblitt and wife Ginger, of Claremore; three grandchildren, Christi Kopp and husband Larry, Kelly Miller and husband Will, Bryan Noblitt and wife Kelsey; great grandchildren, Rylee Kopp, Jase Kopp, Waylen Miller, Kaylen Noblitt, Tatum Noblitt, Tanner Noblitt, Lucy Noblitt; siblings Doyle Hayes and wife Jane, Treva Murry and husband David, Sue Decker; many other relatives and a host of friends.
A visitation for Mrs. Noblitt will be held 5-7 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel, Nowata, Ok. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday November 15,2024 at Winganon Cemetery, in Rogers County. Services are entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Services of Nowata.
