Carl Edwin Richardson was born at Dearling, West Virginia September 16, 1922. He came to Oklahoma when he was about five years of age.

He was married to Miss Adelle Cline January 2, 1943. To this union one child was born.

He was 22 years, 11 months and 12 days of age.

He is survived by his wife, Adelle Richardson; one son, Carl Evon; father, C. E. Richardson of Corpus Christi, Texas; mother, Mrs. M. G. Cross, of Taft, Texas; five brothers, Bennett Harmon of Virginia; F. B. Harman of Reydon, Oklahoma; Bud Richardson of McCamey, Texas; Pvt. Elmer Richardson, prisoner of war of Thailand; Calvin Richardson of Perryton, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Vivian Robert and Mrs. Mildred Wilsford of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted by the Baptist pastor, Rev. Horace Woodard at the community building Wednesday, August 29, 1945. Interment was in White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Relatives attending from a distance besides his mother and father, sister and a brother, Calvin Richardson and wife of Perryton, Texas, were uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Richardson, Mrs. Donald Holdmand and daughters, Billy Jo and Donna Jeanne of Amarillo, Texas; H. R. Richardson of Canadian, Texas; Mrs. Adelle Richardson's brother, Charles Cline and wife of Oklahoma City; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evert Cline and family; and his uncle, J. S. Richardson and family of Reydon.
