Mrs. Hettie Lou Crane Pankey of Cheyenne, retired school teacher of Cheyenne, died Sunday at the Cheyenne Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 11, 1973 at 2:30 p.m. in the United Methodist Church.

Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Rev. John Paul King and Rev. W. D. Montgomery officiated.

She was born June 17, 1915 at Rankin.

Mrs. Pankey married Lavon Pankey at Sayre April 14, 1957. She moved to Cheyenne in 1919 and had been a member of the Cheyenne Methodis Church 58 years.

She is survived by her husband of the home.

Pallbearers were J. E. Bradshaw, Glen Tracy, R. L. Trammell, Albert Maddux, Sr., Wallace Payne, Paul Dye, Lloyd Martin and Joe Redden.

Funeral arrangements were by Scroggins and Son.
