Troy Robert Harmon

October 4, 1937 ~ July 24, 2003

Troy Robert Harmon was born October 4, 1937, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Jessie Roberta and Frazier Brown Harmon. He passed away July 24, 2003, at his home in Pocasset, Oklahoma, at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 20 days.

Troy moved with his family to Reydon, OK, when he was a child. He graduated from Reydon High School in 1957. In December of 1957, he entered the U.S. Army. Troy was married to Jissie Barker at Reydon, OK, on June 11, 1958. After his discharge, they lived in Pampa, TX, and the Dumas, TX, area until moving to Amarillo. In 1977, they returned to Reydon, where they remained until 1997 when they moved to Pocasset to make her home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Jessie.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 27, at 2:00 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Alberta Helton. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne, OK.

Survivors include: his wife: Jissie of the home; 1 daughter: Gina Dickerson and husband Eddie of Union City, OK; 2 sons: J. R. Harmon and wife Becky of Pocasset, OK, Randy Harmon and wife, Kelli of Mustang, OK; 3 sisters: AvaLee Henson of Amarillo, TX, Gracie Swinford of Hammon, OK, Sabra Mc Glothlin of Crawford, OK; 2 brothers: Bill Harmon of Cheyenne, OK, and Danny Harmon of Durham, OK; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
