Annie Gladys Mabra Clift

Annie Gladys Mabra Clift, 74, of Rt. 1, Reydon, was born January 20, 1912 in Arkansas to Robert and Bessie Lee Mabra and passed away Tuesday, January 6, 1987 at the Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City following an extended illness.

She moved with her parents to Elk City in the fall of 1919, moving to Cheyenne in 1927 and on to Reydon in 1928.

On October 22, 1933 she was married to Homer Edward "Bill" Clift in Sweetwater, Oklahoma.

Following their marriage they lived in California. They returned to Roger Mills county in 1941, making their home in Reydon, Oklahoma.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Reydon.

Preceding Mrs. Clift in death were her parents; her husband, Bill in 1961; one son and one brother.

Survivors include two sons, Billy of Reydon; Dale of Vici, Oklahoma; ten grandchilren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Mable Fetty of Sayre, Oklahoma and Edith Bartz of Spearman, Texas; three brothers, Jack Mabra of Amarillo, Texas; Bill Mabra of Reydon, Oklahoma; and Bob Mabra of Reydon, Oklahoma

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, January 8, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Reydon with Eddie Overstreet officiating.

Interment followed in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.

Pallbearers were Ray Hughes, Gary Beals, Dale Brown, Jimmy McCoy, M. J. Owen and Scott McCoy.
