William H. Beierschmitt

Funeral services for William H. "Bill" Beierschmitt were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 1985, in the First Presbyterian Church, Elk City, with the Rev. Geary Scott, minister.

Mr. Beierschmitt was born March 11, 1905 in Roger Mills County and died November 8, 1985 in Community Hospital at the age of 80.

He married Alberta Jane Reynolds April 3, 1925 and she preceded him in death February 3, 1968.

He was then married to Esta Mae Siegfried Blackmon October 16, 1968 in Elk City.

He had lived in western Oklahoma all his life and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, hunting, ball games and horse racing.

He was a farmer and had operated a grain elevator and cream station in Reydon.

He is survived by his wife, Esta May of the Elk City home; one son, B. H. "Bill" Beierschmitt and his wife, Irene of Alva, Oklahoma; two step daughters, Shirley Bursch of Oklahoma City; and Claine Simon of Elk City; one granddaughter, Linda Sechler; three grandsons, Billy Ray, Bobby Joe and Jimmy Don; eight step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta Jane; two sisters; six brothers; one grandson, Gary; and one step grandson, Andy.

Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Savage Funeral Home.
