Rodney Dee Bartz

Rodney Dee Bartz, age 27, passed away on December 20, 1995. He was born on January 19, 1968 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Thomas and Deelilah Morton Bartz.

He lived in Weatherford and Ft. Worth for a short time before moving to Houston, Texas. He lived in Houston for 3 1/2 years and then in 1974 moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

He attended and graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1986. He attended and graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1992 with a degree in Business Management.

He met Sandra Schopper at Oral Roberts University and they were married in May 1993.

While living in Tulsa, he attended Open Bible Fellowship until he moved to California in July 1995 where he attended Harvest Christian Church in Riverside, California. He was very strong in his faith.

He was a very quiet, gentle and kind person and set an upstanding example for everyone.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Schopper Bartz of the home; parents, Thomas and Deelilah Morton Bartz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Kody Bartz of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Brandi Boatright of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and one nephew, Dalton Boatright of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. at Open Bible Fellowship at 718 West Main, Jenks, Oklahoma with Pastor Joel Budd officiating.

Interment be at 4:00 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Christian-Gavlik Funeral Home.
