Samuel Thomas Barnard Obit

Samuel Thomas Barnard, Reydon, died Thursday September 21, 1967 at Amarillo, Texas.

Services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Reydon Community Building with Rev. Nath Franks officiating.

Born February 7, 1882 at Jasper, Arkansas, Mr. Barnard moved to the Grimes community in 1901.

He was married October 27, 1912 at Grimes to Bertha Morrison.

He moved from Grimes to Reydon in 1932.

One daughter and one son preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Jewel Taylor of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Thelma Taylor, Mrs. Nina Archer and Mrs. Iola Harchbanks, all of Amarillo; Mrs. Mercede Sims of Sayre; three sons, Lonnie, S.T. and Lucas, all of Amarillo, Texas; twenty seven grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Rachael Milhouse of High Rolls, New Mexico; Mrs. Ella Cree of Sapulpa; Mrs. Maggie Harmon of Cheyenne; and Miss Alma Barnard of Drumright.

Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Fatheree-Albert funeral home in charge of arrangements.
