Marquerette Lois Atha Barker Obit

Mrs. Lois Barker of Sayre passed from this life on April 25, 1984 in Kingman, Arizona. Born Marquerette Lois Atha, daughter of Calvin and Eddie Lee Atha June 1, 1984.

She was raised in the Brookside community.

She married Arthur T. "Chick" Barker on December 6, 1933.

She spent most of her married years in the Durham and Reydon community, and spent the last four years in Sayre.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur T. Barker; two sons, Gerry Dale of Sayre; and Arthur Gale Barker of Reydon; three sisters, Vivian Barker of Sayre; Myrtle Thompson of Sayre; Hazel McEntire of Reydon; twp brothers, C. W. Atha of Cheyenne; and Rex Atha of Berlin; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were conducted on April 30, 1984 in the Reydon Community Building with Bruce Mayfield and Harold Knight officiating.

Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Home, Sayre.
