Kim Andrew Alexander

Kim Andrew Alexander was born May 28, 1953 in Sayre, Oklahoma and passed away December 17, 1989 in the Veteran's Hospital of Oklahoma City, at the age of 36 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Kim, the son of Dorothy and Jerry Alexander, graduated from Reydon High School in 1971.

He then attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College at Tonkawa before entering the United States Navy in 1972 where he saw action in the Vietnam conflict.

After his discharge in 1976 he attended the University of Oklahoma and later worked for the Norman Public Schools before returning to Reydon in 1986 to work for his mother as a legal assistant in her law office.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruth and J. M. Alexander.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Alexander of Reydon, Oklahoma; his maternal grandparents, Earnie and Lois Yowell of Reydon, Oklahoma; an aunt, Mary Erickson of St. Paul, Minnesota; three uncles, Clark Yowell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jeff Yowell and Kevin Yowell, both of Reydon, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 21, 1989 at 10:30 a.m. in the Reydon Community Building with David Tosney presenting the eulogy.

Interment will follow in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.

Pallbearers are Clark Yowell, Jeff Yowell, Kevin Yowell, Joe Yowell, Paul Ray Yowell and Eric Erickson.
