Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Cheyenne Monday for Charles A. Lathrop.

Rev. Clayton Hughes, Pastor of the church, conducted the services. Committal was in the Strong City cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Mr. Lathrop died in Hugo, Oklahoma January 26, 1961 after an illness of four years.

He was born March 26, 1873.

Mr. Lathrop was in business in Strong city for many years before moving to eastern Oklahoma.

He is survived by a son, Lane Lathrop, wife and daughter of Bell Garden, California; a daughter, June; Mrs. W. M. Edwards of Hobbs, New Mexico; and a sister, Mrs. Lena Witt of Springfield, Missouri.
