Judy Diane Beals was born September 17, 1954 at Strong City, Oklahoma to Lee and Naomi Russell Gates and passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the age of 58.

She was a 1972 graduate of Cheyenne High School and then continued her education at Panhandle State University on a music scholarship.

She was married to Lonnie Beals on May 19, 1973 and to this union four boys were born, Timothy Lavern, Jason Thomas, Steven Harold and Jamie Lee.

Judy worked at the Cheyenne Motel before moving to Arapaho, Oklahoma where she graduated from Aladdin Beauty School.

She became a beauty instructor at Aladdin for several years before moving to Oklahoma City where she was an instructor at Paul's Beauty College.

In 1995, she moved back to Arapaho, Oklahoma where she has lived since.

Judy was an avid lover of flamingos, flowers, animals and wildlife.

She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Barbara and Mary.

She is survived by her four sons, Timmy, Jason, Steven and Jamie; two daughters-in- law, Tina and Janelle; fifteen grandchildren, Kyle, Shaina, Sammy, Trenton, Anthony, Ryan, Izabel, Jazmyne, Jace, Christian, Adrianna, Alex, Zachari, Katie and Connor; one sister, Beverly O'Brien and her husband Mike; a brother in law, Kenneth Hay; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Judy Gates Beals were conducted Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Elk City with Chip Eeds officiating.

Interment was in the Strong City Cemetery under the direction of the Martin's Funeral Home of Elk City.
