William Green Bailey

Funeral services were held January 18, 1975 for William Green Bailey at the Strong City Baptist Church, Reverend Bill Parvin, officiating.

Mr. Bailey was born January 9, 1890 in Panola county, Texas and came to Roger Mills county from east Texas in 1907.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Helen Caster of Yukon, Oklahoma; two sons, Kenneth of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Vernon of Casper, Wyoming; one brother, O. E. Bailey of Strong City; one sister, Mrs. Neta Howard of Durango, Colorado; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Another of our old pioneers has passed from our midst and will be missed.

Burial Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
