Mrs. W. H. Anderson

Funeral services of Mrs. W. H. Anderson were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Strong City church with Dr. I. L. Yearby, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, delivering the sermon. Burial was in the Strong City cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Scroggins Funeral Home of Cheyenne.

Mrs. Anderson came to Roger Mills County in the early 90's where she and her husband resided on a homestead for many years. Later they moved to Strong City where they made their home for 35 years. In 1947 they moved to Oklahoma City where they resided at the time of the passing of Mrs. Anderson.

She had been a member of the Baptist church since early in life and her influence had always been for the advancement of Christianity.

Survivors include her husband, W. H. Anderson of strong City; one son, W. D. (Jack) Anderson of Clinton; and four daughters who are Mrs. J. D. Powers, Oklahoma City; Mrs. R. N. Higgins, Arnett; Mrs. J. C. Sullins, Elk City; Mrs. Y. D. Erwin, Clinton, Oklahoma.
