David M. Tosney was born April 16, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, to Patricia and Michael Tosney.
He passed away November 4, 2003 in his home at Roll, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 18 days.
David grew up in Los Angeles where he graduated from high school and attended Pasadena College.
He worked for a carnival for a number of years before moving to Reydon, Oklahoma in 1977. In 1980 he began working as a lineman for Northfork Electric and continued until his retirement in 1999.
He was married to Patricia Ann Riley Parkhurst at Reydon, Oklahoma on August 30, 1991 and they made their home in Roll, Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Cheyenne First Methodist Church.
Services were held Friday, November 7, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Don Harrold.
Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Tosney of the home; one daughter, Sallie Bass and husband, Mark of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one son, Jesse Parkhurst and wife Sammie of Sayre, Oklahoma; his mother Patricia Ferguson of Roll, Oklahoma; one sister, Trisia Hovey of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; one brother, Daniel Tosney of Pasadena, California; three grandchildren, Madison Hope Stockton, Caleb Bass, and Edge Splinter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
