Mariah Elizabeth Williams Stroup died Sunday, December 31, 1961 in the Cheyenne Hospital.
Funeral services were in the Church of Christ, Cheyenne, at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with Kent Ellis officiating.
She was born in Paris, Illinois, December 17, 1874 and came to Cheyenne in 1925 from Oilton, Oklahoma and had resided there since.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. W. O. Seymour of Phillips, Texas, Mrs. R. L. Lovett of Aynwood, California, Mrs. V. W. Fowler of Borger, Texas; four sons, H. A. of Cheyenne; Ross of San Bernadino, California; Manford of Cheyenne; Lowell of Borger, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Gould of Arkansas City, Kansas.
Interment was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Scroggins and son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
