Samuel Franklin Stout was born January 25, 1866 in Missouri, and was married there in 1899 to Nettie Young.
They moved to Roger Mills county in 1901.
In 1944, they sold their farm and moved to Elk City, where they had made their home since.
Mr. Stout died Thursday, June 2, 1954 in an Elk City Hospital.
He was a member of the Crawford Christian Church, and a former member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Survivors are his wife and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Burial was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
