Funeral services for Mrs. Dora A. Pierce Springer of Crawford, who died Friday, May 21, 1948 at 3:00 p.m. following a long illness were held Sunday, May 23, 1948 at the Silent Home church with Rev. J. S. Veach officiating.
Mrs. Dora Springer was born August 9, 1877 at Sullivan, Missouri.
She was married to William E. Springer at Sticklerville, Missouri September 17, 1899.
They came to Roger Mills county in 1902 from Missouri and have resided in the Crawford community since that time.
Survivors include her husband of the home address; one son, S. P. Springer; and one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Reynolds, both of Crawford; one brother, W. A. Pierce of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. Laura Riddle of Fulton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
Committal was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home of Cheyenne in charge of arrangements.
