Funeral services for Julia Ann Webb Powers, who died Friday at 12:30 a.m. at the home of her son, George W. Powers near Durham were held Sunday, November 11, 1945 at the Silent Home church near Roll at 3:00 with Reverend W. W. Voight officiating.
Mrs. Powers was born at Carterville, Illinois in 1868.
She was married to Julius Hamilton Powers in May 1888.
Mr. and Mrs. Powers moved to western Oklahoma from Texas in 1905 where they have made their home since that time.
Survivors include a son, George of Durham; one daughter, Mrs. May Ivie of Roswell, New Mexico; one sister, Mrs. Mary Haynes of Los Angeles, California; twelve grandchildren; twelve greatgrandchildren; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Burial in Silent Home cemetery, Roll.
