Alva Lloyd Martin, 86, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Cheyenne First Baptist Church with Terry Beals and Aubrey Cowan officiating. Burial will be in Silent Home Cemetery by Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Mr. Martin was born Oct. 15, 1918, east of Roll, to Ophelia and Lee Martin. He married Margie Stauber at Cheyenne on July 3, 1938.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Lloydelle "Marti" Lester and Juretta Sue Pearson, both of Amarillo, Texas, and Christi Lanier of Lawrence, Kan.; a son, Joe Don Martin of Sanger, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association or a favorite charity
