Vernor Floyd Davis, son of W. G. and Messia Davis, was born at Crawford, Oklahoma, April 29, 1903, and departed this life March 23, 1958 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Vernor had lived his entire life in western Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father.
He leaves to mourn his passing besides his wife of the home address, his son, Jack and wife and three grandsons, Gary, Vernon and Kerry; two sisters, Irene Davis of Hillboro, Oregon; and Gertrude Lucas of Durham, Oklahoma; three brothers, Charlie of Crawford; Virgil of Roll and Harley of Abilene, Texas.
Funeral services were held in Crawford School gym with Don Kester of Elk City as the officiating minister.
Interment was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
