Helen Edith Sadler Cockrell, 71, of Durham, died Monday, January 22, 1980 at the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Durham Community Building with Cecil Burch and Leland Burch officiating.
Burial will be in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
Mrs. Cockrell was born March 1, 1908 at Clearwater, Kansas and moved with her parents to Roger Mills county as a young girl.
She was married to Tim R. Cockrell April 9, 1927 in Canadian, Texas.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one son, two grandsons and two granddaughters.
Survivors are two daughters, Melva Barrow of Amarillo, Texas; and Wanda Estes of Mobeetie, Texas; four sons, Leo of St. Louis, Missouri; Dale of Cheyenne; Donald and Glen, both of Durham; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Reynolds of Coweta; Virginia McGlothlin of Durham; Zelma Widener of Bartlesville; Thelma Baker of Crawford; seven brothers, Kenneth Sadler of Ojai, California; Wayne Sadler of Reydon; Jerald Sadler of Sayre; Claude Sadler of Pampa, Texas; Dan Sadler of Cheyenne; Eugene Sadler of Stratford, Texas; and Rex Sadler of Cheyenne.
