Funeral services were held for John Fred Clay July 21, 1970 at 10:30 a.m. in the Crawford Auditorium with Rev. Albert Trent and Rev. A. L. Martin officiating.
He was born October 29, 1912 at Reydon and passed away July 18, 1970 at 4:45 p.m. at his home.
He was married December 24, 1934, to Hardy Lowe Loftin at Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
John Fred was a life time resident of Roger Mills county and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was engaged in the dairy industry.
Survivors are his wife Hardy of the home and one daughter, Judy Clay Penticull of San Clemente, California; four sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers were Oran McGlothlin, Ralph Coom, Guy Baker, Donald Reynolds, Jim Taylor, Eugene Blackketter, L. L. Males, Howard Black and Lee Roark.
Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins and Son.
