Sylvia Lenora Springer Cagle was born February 19, 1934 on the Springer homestead, southwest of Roll, Oklahoma to Cora Mary Mae Goin and Scott Pierce Springer and passed away June 6, 1998 in her home at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 17 days.
Sylvia attended Crawford School for all 12 years and graduated in 1953. During her high school years she met and later married Delmar Cagle on December 21, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and to this union were born four sons.
She lived and worked around central and eastern Oklahoma for many years.
She retired from Rather Foods at the GM Plant in Oklahoma City and moved to Clinton, Oklahoma for her retirement.
She was baptized and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dale, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by four sons, David and Sandy Cagle; Daniel and Vickie Cagle; Donald Cagle; D. J. Cagle; five grandsons; John, Brett, Jeffery, Kyle and Joe; three step grandchildren, Adam, Lauren and Rachale; her mother, Mary Springer; four sisters, Mae Sue Bright, Ressie Sadler, Dora Hammond and Carolyn Sims; three brothers, Loyd Springer, Scott Springer and George Springer; and one aunt, Esther Miller.
Services were Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at the Crawford Magnolia Baptist Church with burial at the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
