Alva Lee Bright was born May 1, 1932 in Crawford, Oklahoma to Mable Mae Bright. She passed away October 16, 2003 in the Cheyenne Care Center, Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 15 days.
Alva Lee attended school at Crawford and lived with her mother in the Crawford community.
After Mable passed away in 1963, Alva Lee moved to Cheyenne to make her home.
She always helped the ladies at the nursing home when her health was better.
She was a member of the Cheyenne United Methodist Church and loved to attend church.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services were held Saturday October 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Don Harold.
Burial was at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne.
Survivors include Aunt Mae Sue Bright of Crawford, Oklahoma, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
