Bonita Iris Smith Beals was born on June 21, 1929 in Spearman, Texas to Leslie Bailey Smith and Ethel Lucille McClellan Smith and died on May 31, 1994 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid after a short illness.
Bonita married Harold Laverne Beals on July 10, 1948 at Wheeler, Texas.
They lived in the Roll community since 1961 with their five children, and ran a Grade A. dairy until 1973.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Beals; her parents, Leslie and Lucille Smith; one grandson, Jonathan Taylor; and one sister, Patricia Williams.
She is survived by her children, Lonnie and Linda Beals of Elk City; Joan and Mac Taylor of Reydon; Jean and Don Whiteneck of Ringwood; Terry and Ladonna Beals of Coushatta, Louisiana; Gail Sides of Cheyenne; two sisters, Loretta Kinney of Azle, Texas; Jeweleen Smith of Weatherford, Texas; two brothers, Leslie Smith and Billymack Smith both of Weatherford, Texas; twelve grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.
She was saved at the First Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1943 and she was an active member of the Magnolia Baptist Church at Crawford since 1961.
Also a member of the Roll Quilting Club and Honorary member of the Cheyenne Sorosis Club.
She enjoyed working with porcelain {making dolls}, ceramics, painting and flower gathering.
She especially enjoyed being with her family.

Services will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Baptist Church at Crawford.
Interment will be at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Home.
