Funeral services for Ham Harber Aderhold, Strong City resident who died Friday March 4, 1949 at the home of his son, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Aderhold was born July 17, 1868 and was married to Maude Jones at Pendon, Texas.
They came to Strong City from Colgate, Oklahoma on October 3, 1905.
He was a long-time member of the Strong City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. H. H. Aderhold of the home address; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie McClellan and Mrs. Emmet McClellan, both of Elk City; and Mrs. Jim Sing of Strong City; two sons, Fred of Strong City; and Walter Aderhold of Crawford; two brothers, John of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Henry Aderhold of West, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Powell of Archer City, Texas; and Mrs. Ada McCarthy of La Mesa, Texas.
Services were at Breezy Meadow school auditorium with the Rev. Horace Woodward officiating.
Burial was in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
