We are grieved to learn of the illness and death of the esteemable wife of our long time friend Hix Duncan of Rome.

It seems that but a short time since she fell on the door step and received internal injuries from which she succumbed, notwithstanding all that human hands and loving hearts could do.

She was well liked by everyone who knew her.

She left a large family of children who with her husband will greatly miss her.

We extend our sympathies to the stricken family.

Interment in Rome Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
