Ollie Mae McKay, age 86, of Leedey, Oklahoma passed from this earth on December 21, 2012.

Ollie was born to Ben and Jettie (Gentry) Meadows on March 27, 1926 in Farmersville, Texas.

Ollie attended grade school in Madill, OK before graduating from Ardmore High School with the class of 1946.
 

Ollie married Ernest Erron McKay on December 22, 1946 in Roger Mills County, OK. Ernest and Ollie were blessed with two children, daughter Mary Jo and son James. The family resided North West of Leedey, OK on the family farm. Ollie moved to town in 1963 and lived there until moving to the nursing center.
 

During her lifetime, Ollie worked as a farmer and as a cashier for Cates Grocery and Meat Market. Ollie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking and spending time at the coffee shop.
 

Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Jettie Meadows and husband, Ernest McKay.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Mary Jo Kauk and husband Bob of Leedey, OK, son James McKay and wife Betty of Clinton, OK, grandchildren, JoDee Adney and husband David, Jamie Wynn and husband Austin all of Clinton, OK, Bobbi Jo Strahorn and husband Cory of Piedmont, OK, and Erron Kauk and wife Tara of Red Oak, OK, eight great-grandchildren, many family and a host of friends.
