June Trent, 90 year old Woodward resident, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 in Buffalo.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Lincoln Campus with Reverend Gary Williams officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

June Elaine (Hughes) Trent was born on July 31, 1932 in Hammon, Oklahoma to P.O. and Vera Bell (Esler) Hughes. She attended school at Spring Creek Elementary and graduated from Hammon High School. At the age of 16, June was baptized in the Moorewood Baptist Church. June was united in marriage to Johnny Clyde (J.C) Trent on February 28, 1953 at the Moorewood Baptist Church in Moorewood, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed with three children, Cheryl, Johnny, and Brenda. The family made their home in Hammon until 1970 when they moved to Woodward. June worked at Tregos Factory. She was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church and worked in the church nursery for over 30 years. Any church June attended, she helped work in the children's nursery. June enjoyed quilting, puzzles, working in her flower garden, watching humming birds and being with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters: Cheryl Jopling and husband Mark of Edmond, Brenda Kornele and husband Kenneth of Buffalo; eight grandchildren: Misty Jopling, Chad Jopling and wife Crystal, Shane Jopling and wife Kay, Chris Trent and wife Haley, Felicia Trent and Robert Lamberth, Brandon Kornele and wife Jennifer, Kendra Estep and husband Derek, Kassy Urbanosky and husband Matt; 23 great-grandchildren: Lane Smith, Brian Smith, Clarrisa Gibson, Sharea Mize, Kayla Broomfield, Brice Jopling, Hayden Jopling, Johnny Clyde Jopling, Lance Jopling, Robbie Lamberth, Johnny Lambert, Trent Lambert, Kaden Kornele, Kole Kornele, Kane Kornele, Madison Wingo, Ally Estep, Jaycee Estep, Aubrey Estep, Sadie Estep, Ava Urbanosky, Zane Urbanosky, Elise Urbanosky; eight great-great-grandchildren: Jade Gibson, Eli Mize, Chad Mize, LJ Broomfield, Nora Broomfield, Kynzleigh Broomfield, Trent Smith, Ivalee Wingo; one brother, Larry Hughes and wife Shari; one sister, Elnora Foster; other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.C, one son, Johnny Trent, one sister and two brothers.
