Mollie A. Creach Sifford

Mollie A. Sifford was born April 2, 1880 in Sneedville, Tennessee.
She departed this life January 9, 1968 at the age of 87 years 9 months and 7 days.
The family moved to northeast Texas in 1890, then in 1901 to the Colter community southeast of Hammon.
She was united in marriage to William L. Sifford on July 19, 1916 at Arapaho, Oklahoma. They lived in the Colter community until Mr. Sifford retired in 1946, when they moved to Hammon where she had lived since.
Mrs. Sifford was a life-time member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Trent of Hammon; Mrs. Bessie Bradley of Amarillo, Texas; one son, Herman of Adrian, Texas; also, fourteen grandchildren; twenty eight greatgrandchildren and four great greatgrandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
