Funeral services for David Walter Perry, retired Hammon farmer who died Thursday morning, January 26, 1950 in a local hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hammon Baptist church with Rev. W. L. Magar officiating.
Mr. Perry was born January 20, 1869 in Mississippi. He came to Oklahoma in 1927 settling near Hammon where he has lived since that time.
He is survived by two sons, D. W. Perry, Jr. of Hammon; and J. H Perry of Tucumcari, New Mexico; one daughter, Kathryn Potts of Bakersfield, California; one brother, Robert S. Perry of Dallas, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Potts of Rule, Texas; as well as other relatives and friends.
Burial will be in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Savage Funeral in charge of arrangements.
